Your own water supply

Wherever mains connection is costly or inconvenient, a private water supply is the answer. Amos can handle the whole project from start to finish: provide introductions to specialist borehole drillers; arrange laboratory testing to confirm water quality; supply pump, control equipment, storage and distribution. We can also install filtration, disinfection and chemical balancing units (click Purity, left).

Amos are sole UK distributors of top-quality Panelli borehole pumps. They are built of stainless steel and engineering plastics, and feature a stainless casing and a shielded stainless suction screen.

Proven Franklin motors are fitted as standard to offer a long, untroubled lifetime of service and exceptional value.

A choice of models is available to suit the requirements of each installation, including large units for industrial applications.

Amos' own electrical starter box is supplied with single-phase pumps. It is roomy for easy wiring-in, and is supplied with clear wiring instructions.

All borehole accessories are available from Amos, including switches, cables, support rope and our own low-level control boxes and probes for use where there is a chance that the water level in the aquifer may fall too low, allowing the pump to overheat.

Quick to install

Panelli borehole pumps are avalable from stock in a choice of conformations to fit standard 4in and larger boreholes. Installation can be carried out by our own staff or by a customer's local specialist. Amos can provide introductions to drillers, laboratories and installers.

The installation pictured is in an outbuilding, and includes a pressure vessel to provide a volume of water stored under pressure. At other sites, a standard manhole and cover is the only requirement, plus a sheltered position nearby for a control box.
