JS Range of Pumps

CHARACTERISTIC CURVES
Tolerance according to ISO 2548

Duty point should be on solid line of graph.
We do not stock the JS 07 pump.

STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS:
PUMP BODY: Cast iron, with UNI ISO 228/1 gas threaded suction and delivery openings, threaded side openings for installing a pressure gauge and pressure switch.
PUMP BODY COVER: AISI 304 stainless steel, serving also as mechanical seal housing.
EJECTOR UNION: "General Electric" Noryl ® technopolymer (approved for drinking water).
IMPELLER: Centrifugal radial flow in brass or "General Electric" Noryl ® technopolymer (approved for drinking water) on request.
MOTOR SHAFT: AISI 416 stainless steel.

MOTOR:
The pumps are coupled to an asynchronous, high efficiency induction motor of suitable size, which is quiet, closed and externally ventilated, suitable for continuous duty. INSULATION class B. The thermal cutout relay (motor protector) is incorporated in single phase motors. Three phase motors require an adequate external motor protector, with connections according to current standards.
PROTECTION: IP 44.
REGISTERED MODEL: Nº 72753.

Motors

220/240v, 1ph, 50Hz to IP44 protection, aluminium motor casing totally enclosed external fan cooled, induction motor with permanent-slip capacitor.
JS 05 has a 0.5 hp motor.
JS 08 has a 0.8 hp motor.

Installation

Indoors or weather protected covered area, frost protected. Always mount the pump in the same plane as the pictures. Maximum ambient temperature +40 degrees centigrade.

Pumping Limitations

Maximum practical suction lift 8 metres, a footvalve is prefered. Maximum fluid temperature +40 degrees centigrade. The pump is designed to transfer clean, fresh, non-agressive water which it does well, debris in the water will clog the impeller causing inefficient pumping and eventual blockage.
