City Borehole Pumps

City 4in and 6in submersible borehole pumps are available in more than 100 models, with motor power up to 40 HP. They rely on quality and value-for-money to maintain their place in the World market.

Now their full range - from 1 cubic meter per hour to 60 cubic metres per hour with heads of over 500 metres - is available to drillers and installers in the UK, exclusively through Amos Pumps.

Single and three-phase versions are available, with up to 3 HP for single phase motors and 40 HP for three phase. All accessories are supplied, including a waterproof heat-shrink cable joint, and, with single-phase models, Amos Pumps own easy to install starter box containing start capacitor and overload cut-out with manual reset.

Amos Pumps also offer a low-level control box, cable and probes for use where there is a risk of damage through dry-running, and a full range of optional extras, making it easy for installers to be sure of all they need from one reliable source.

Low-level Control Boxes
Amos' spacious single-phase and three-phase control boxes feature DIN-rail component mounting to ensure easy access and component replacement if needed. Capacitor is included, together with spare terminals so that float switches or pressure sets can be wired in.

Franklin & City Submersible Pump Motors Borehole pump motors are stocked in large quantities for immediate despatch, sizes include - 230 volt, single phase, 50Hz. - 0.5hp, 0.75hp, 1.0hp, 1.5hp, 2.0hp & 3.0hp 400 volt, three phase, 50Hz - 0.75hp, 1.0hp, 1.5hp, 2.0hp, 3.0hp, 4.0hp & 5.5hp with a limited number of larger hp. 60Hz are available. Full range of motor start capacitors stocked, also motor end cables with plugs. Motor/pump connections are built to NEMA dimensional standards. Insulation: class F, protection: IP 68, water temperature: up to + 30 degrees centigrade, starts per hour: 25 at regular intervals Borehole Motor Cable 1.5 & 2.5 sq.mm, HO7RNF, 4 core, stocked on 500 metre drums, part drums of other sizes, all sizes can be supplied in cut lengths.
